MeteoXchange is pleased to announce that the Student & Early Career Scientists Conference will be held as a FREE virtual conference!
The ECS conference provides an excellent opportunity for Masters, Undergraduate and PhD students, as well as early career scientists, working in fields related to meteorology to present their work in a friendly environment.
There will be a keynote lecture, poster sessions as well as sessions for oral presentations. Furthermore there will be a workshop „Improve your presentation skills“ in preparation of this ECS conference in the beginning of March, an evening icebreaker event and a movie night!
The virtual conference will take place on the 17th and 18th March 2022! We want to make as many participants from all time zones happy as possible, so the final programme will be published after the abstract submission deadline.
More information about the exact program will be announced here. Information about the exact schedule for the ECS conference will be sent personally after a registration has been made at the latest one week before the conference starts. The opportunity to register and abstract submission will start on 17th January 2022. We will inform you by 14th February 2022 whether your abstract has been accepted. Can’t be there? Please share with a friend or colleague for whom this might be of interest!
You can apply for the ECS conference until 04th February 2022 to present your work orally or as a poster. Please hand in an abstract with your registration as a PDF file. The PDF should include:
- The title of your work
- Your name and E-Mail address and all co-authors listed
- A short summary of your current work wich should not exceed 250 words!
- Three keywords for your abstract. This helps the organising committee to categorise similar presentations and posters!
